- Lithopone - Lithopone is a highly efficient white pigment produced on the basis of barium sulfate and zinc sulfide. It is used in a large range of applications in the traditional plastics, adhesives and coatings markets.
- Zinc Sulfide (Sachtolith L and HDS), a highly white zinc sulfide pigment, is particularly suitable for incorporation in glass-fiber-reinforced plastics (GRPs). It is significantly softer than titanium dioxide and can therefore not damage the sensitive glass fibers embedded in the plastic.
- Titanium Dioxide (Rutile and Anatase available) The KEMIRA/Sachtleben joint venture, in Titanium Dioxide production, produces the highest quality grades for various industries. In particular, the Kemira RD-3 Rutile grade, is an Alumina-zirconia surface treated grade, which gives it outstanding exterior durability, high brightness, opacity, excellent gloss and gloss retention, and easy dispersibility. This versatile grade is recommended for high quality solvent and water-borne decorative paints and industrial coatings and inks.
- Nano-Titanium Dioxide (transparent Hombitec grades) - When the need is for protection of paints and clear plastic packaging against harmful UV rays, we can supply the right answer in the form of our HOMBITEC RM range. These products make it possible to reliably prevent embrittlement and yellowing of painted and coated surfaces; the hue of colored pigments is sustained for a prolonged period.
